JoAfrica Consultants is an organization that empower businesses and people by enhancing greater human resource management practices and business growth. We do this through conducting assorted training and development services (Behavioral, Technical and organizational), HR Policy Development and SOPs Improvements consultancy, Employee Health and Wellbeing, Institution sustainability and support services, Employee Psycho Support and Top grading, Job Evaluation Exercise, pay benchmarking services, Equity & Equality in Leadership, and Learning Institutions Management and Support services.

In our CSR services, we work closely with sports clubs and teams on talent mentorship as well as providing support for the sportsmen and women on their transition after retiring from active sporting under our Beyond the Game Program. We also support upcoming managers and talents whereas we conduct bootcamps to help prepare future African Full of Potential across various industries. We believe in Africa solutions for global problems because Africa as a Continent has greater resources that should be utilized well to make the world happy and habitable, especially the welfare of African workforce and institutions in the global market.

About the Founder

.Fostine Opiyo Odhiambo – Founder & Lead HR Consultant

Fostine is a multi-skilled Human Resource Management, Operations, and Administration Professional with extensive work experience of about 16 years. Full member of IHRM of good standing with a practicing certificate. His experience comprises HR generalist (Administration and people advocate roles) and HR Business Partner (Strategic partner and Human Resource Development roles) as well as HR Consultancy roles. In HR consultancy, Fostine has majorly contributed in the HR Policy Development and developing Organizations SOPs, Training and Development (Technical, Behavioral and Organizational), Reward and Recognition Consultancy (Job Evaluation, Salary Surveys, Team Motivation and Organization Happiness Index) Recruitment Process and Job Seekers Psycho Support and Books Review and Writing. He is a great training content developer who never misses to understand the client’s needs. Fostine is a top grading interview expert.

Fostine has gained transferable experience from conglomerate sectors that includes Hospitality, Communication, Manufacturing, Production, Merchandising, Transportation & Logistics, Maritime, Education, Agribusiness, Healthcare, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and Management Consultancy. His accumulated wealth of experience in conglomerate organizations both locally and internationally brands him ahead of the majority when it come to best management practices, managing talents, policy formulation and implementation, workforce engagement, Project Development, Acquire-hires and mergers, modern HR Management & HR Data Management/Reporting, HR Development, Mentoring, Developing Business Models, top grading, building start-ups and improving existing businesses and organizations. Some of his past assignments within Africa Countries like DRC, Comoros, Tanzania, Zanzibar, South Africa, and his home country Kenya have been recommendable. The largest number of workforces he has led in the past is 3500 while the smallest has been 50 employees. He has also managed over 11 groups of companies in multiple countries.

Academically qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce (HRM) from KCA University - Kenya, a Higher National Diploma in HRM from The Technical University of Kenya, and a Diploma in Personnel Management from the Railway Training Institute (RTI) - Kenya coupled with endless professional development training and certification. Currently, Fostine is undertaking MBA -in Strategic Management from Kenyatta University – Kenya. He has served as a board member of Tom Mboya Level 4 Hospital, Adventist Media Council and Currently a board member of Chuka Adventist Secondary School.
